Chamber Announces New Hires & Restructure

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn.—Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Ryan Egly announced the restructuring and expansion of the organization’s professional staff.

Effective today, Jantzen Kelly will begin overseeing all finance and accounting functions as the Chamber’s Controller.  Kristin Doss will manage all Chamber communications and tourism initiatives serving as the Marketing Manager, succeeding Emma Thigpen who takes her new role as Program Manager to plan and execute all events, programs, and campaigns.  

“Lawrence County has momentum,” Egly explained.  “Local manufacturers are scaling up, small businesses are growing, and our team welcomes visitors and new neighbors daily.  To best manage this momentum, I am excited to welcome Jantzen and Kristin to the Chamber’s staff and congratulate Emma on her new role.”  

Before spending nearly a decade in the banking industry, Jantzen Kelly earned her master’s in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2014.  She previously served on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, including two years on the Finance Committee.

A 2019 graduate of Hillsong Leadership College in Sydney (AUS), Kristin Doss joins the Chamber with professional customer service, creative marketing, and local government experience.  Her resume of volunteer experience also includes a multi-year commitment to serving at the Chamber as an Ambassador.  

After graduating from the University of North Alabama in 2021, Emma Thigpen began her career as the Chamber’s Marketing Manager.  She has since graduated from the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives Institute and will use her experience to manage the Chamber’s suite of programs, including Leadership Lawrence, and drive member engagement through various events and campaigns.
