Lawrence County Chamber Releases RFP for Economic Development Capital Plan and Marketing Strategy Implementation Plan

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. — The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce has released a Request for Proposals seeking qualified economic development consulting firms or consultants to develop the Lawrence County Economic Development Capital Plan and Marketing Strategy Implementation Plan.

The project is funded in part through a USDA Rural Business Development Grant and is intended to help Lawrence County move from strategic planning into implementation by developing practical, actionable tools that support rural business growth, job creation, business expansion, site readiness, private investment, and long-term economic development.

“The goal of this project is to create a more sustainable economic development model that allows Lawrence County to reinvest in site readiness, infrastructure planning, business recruitment, and long-term product development,” said Ryan Egly, President & CEO of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

The selected consultant will be expected to prepare two primary deliverables: an Economic Development Capital Planand an Economic Development Marketing Strategy and Implementation Plan. Final work products should include decision-ready recommendations, responsible parties, timelines, funding considerations, partner roles, and practical tools that can be implemented immediately after completion.

The project budget is not to exceed $75,000, inclusive of all fees, travel, expenses, materials, and deliverables. Proposals are due October 23, 2026, and questions regarding the RFP should be submitted by October 20, 2026.
