Lawrenceburg, Tenn. — The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is proud to launch its 2026 Shop Local campaign, a countywide initiative encouraging residents to support local businesses during the holiday season and throughout the year. Centered around this year’s message, “Eat. Play. Shop. Local.”, the campaign emphasizes that every dollar spent locally is more than a purchase; it is an investment in local jobs, community programs, and the economic vitality of Lawrence County.
“When we choose to eat, play and shop local, we’re making an investment in Lawrence County. Those dollars support local jobs, strengthen our small businesses and help create the kind of vibrant community we all want to call home. This campaign is really about reminding people that where we spend our money matters, and choosing local makes a real difference,” said Chamber President and CEO Ryan Egly.
The Shop Local campaign will feature branded signage for small businesses, spotlight features across social media, and other promotional efforts designed to encourage residents to think local first. The Chamber will also provide participating businesses with promotional tools to help spread the Shop Local message throughout the community.
As part of this year’s campaign, the Chamber has also introduced a 2026 Shop Local crewneck sweatshirt featuring the “Eat. Play. Shop. Local.” design. The crewneck is available for $30 and offers another way for community members to show their support and help spread the Shop Local message.
From restaurants and retailers to service providers, entertainment, and local experiences, the campaign encourages residents to consider the many ways they can support Lawrence County businesses throughout the holiday season and beyond. Choosing local helps keep dollars in the community while supporting the businesses that create jobs, give back to local causes, and contribute to Lawrence County’s quality of life.
