Announcing the 71st Annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade – Gingerbread Village

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LAWRENCEBURG, TN — The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 71st Annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade, taking place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM in downtown Lawrenceburg.

This year’s theme, “Gingerbread Village,” invites the community to bring the magic of the holidays to life with floats inspired by charming gingerbread houses, candy-covered streets, and everything that makes a Gingerbread Village a Christmas tradition. We encourage participants to use their creativity to transform downtown Lawrenceburg into a festive Gingerbread Village.

Applications for parade participation are now being accepted. More information and registration can be found on the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce website.

Entry Information

  • Business & Advertising Entries: $45 (Late fee of $25 applies after November 20)
  • Car Clubs & Individual Vehicle Entries: $10
  • Community Float Entries: Free (registration required)
  • Horse & ATV Entries: No registration required—simply line up in the designated staging area on parade day.

The success of the Christmas Parade is made possible by the participation of our community, and we encourage businesses, organizations, churches, schools, and families to join us. All parade entries (excluding horse riders) must be pre-registered and decorated in accordance with this year’s Gingerbread Village theme.

Entries will be judged on creativity, lighting, neatness, and overall use of the theme. Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Best of Show – $150
  • Second Place – $100
  • Third Place – $75

We are proud to welcome Loretto Telecom back as the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s parade. Their continued support helps make this long-standing Lawrence County tradition possible.
