LAWRENCEBURG, TENN.- The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Ben Barnett has been promoted to serve as the new economic development Project Manager.
Barnett has served as the Chamber’s Economic Development Apprentice since March and is now responsible for the day-to-day business retention & expansion projects, research and GIS support, existing business relations, and will develop a modern entrepreneurial development strategy for Lawrence County.
“There is no better time to start a business in our community than right now. Lawrence County is primed for growth, and I believe building upon our entrepreneurial ecosystem will complement our economic development efforts,” states Barnett. “I am excited to lead this effort and serve businesses as they grow in our community.”
A Lawrenceburg native, Barnett is a graduate of Lawrence County High School, Columbia State Community College, and will soon graduate from the University of North Alabama with his bachelor’s in business administration.
“Ben is a natural fit for our project manager position,” explained Chamber President & CEO Ryan Egly. “Paired with his dedication to community, his technical proficiency and passion for entrepreneurship will serve our economic development strategy well.”
