LAWRENCEBURG, TENN. — The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Kevin and Jessica Yokley-Owens as the Grand Marshals for the 71st Annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade, taking place on Saturday, December 5, 2026.

Kevin and Jessica have made a lasting impact on Lawrence County through their compassion, generosity, and commitment to serving others. As the founders of A Cora Christmas, they have turned a deeply personal loss into a remarkable legacy of love, bringing joy and hope to thousands of children and families throughout the community.

The story of A Cora Christmas began in 2015 following the heartbreaking loss of their infant daughter, Cora. Determined to keep her memory alive, Kevin and Jessica began setting aside the money they would have spent on their daughter each year and using it to provide Christmas gifts for children in need.

What started as a simple act of love and remembrance has grown into one of Lawrence County’s most cherished holiday traditions.

Today, A Cora Christmas brings together businesses, churches, volunteers, and community supporters to provide a free Christmas celebration for children and families. The annual event features Christmas gifts, food, games, crafts, visits with Santa Claus, and other memorable experiences, ensuring that children throughout the community can share in the joy and magic of the season.

The organization’s mission extends well beyond Christmas. Through additional community initiatives, including providing resources for families and promoting kindness and inclusion among local schoolchildren, Kevin and Jessica continue to demonstrate that even the smallest acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference.

“Kevin and Jessica represent the very best of Lawrence County,” said Ryan Egly, President and CEO of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. “What they’ve built through A Cora Christmas is extraordinary, not simply because of the number of children and families they’ve touched, but because of the love and purpose behind it. I cannot think of two individuals more deserving of leading our Christmas Parade.”

This year’s A Cora Christmas celebration will take place on Sunday, December 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the Historic Lawrenceburg Square in Downtown Lawrenceburg. The event will once again bring families, volunteers, and local businesses together to celebrate the season and continue Cora’s legacy of love and giving.

Presented by Loretto Telecom, the Lawrence County Chamber’s 71st Annual Christmas Parade will begin at 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2026. With the theme “Gingerbread Village,” thousands will line the streets of Downtown Lawrenceburg to celebrate the magic of the season, enjoying festive floats, marching bands, beautifully decorated entries, and the arrival of Santa Claus himself.
