Rose Hired as Lawrence County Chamber’s Destination Marketing Manager

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn.— The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce has named Chandler Rose as its new Destination Marketing Manager, leading efforts to showcase the county as a must-visit destination for travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and history lovers alike.

In this role, Rose will oversee marketing strategies, branding initiatives, and community engagement efforts designed to elevate the ‘Visit Lawrenceburg’ brand and support local tourism & hospitality-related businesses. He will also serve as Lawrence County’s point of contact for tourism agencies, including the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and the South Central Tennessee Tourism Association.

“Growing up, my mom would take us to David Crockett State Park—or as I liked to call it, ‘Crockey Davey Park’—to swim and hike,” Rose said. “As an adult, I find myself returning for disc golf at Scout Park, Sunday morning church, and the occasional Friday night pizza at PieFactory. I’m truly excited not only to experience all the tourism attractions in Lawrence County but also to help share these experiences with as many people as possible. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful community, job, and team.”

Rose, who assumed his role on Monday, March 17, was born and raised in neighboring Giles County and earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville.  After graduating in 2018, he moved to Seattle, Washington where he worked as an Events & Sales Expert for Microsoft.  Understanding the value of small towns and rural living, he moved back to southern middle Tennessee searching for ways to give back to his community.

“As a local, it can be difficult to recognize all of the unique experiences and tourist attractions that are right here at home,” Chamber President & CEO Ryan Egly explained.  “But we’ve learned that these attractions [Amish Country, the David Crockett State Park, our events & festivals, and unique small businesses] bring tens of thousands of visitors to our community each year—positively impacting our business community and generating tax dollars for our local government.  I’m proud to welcome Chandler to our professional staff and look forward to how we can better grow our tourism & hospitality industry.”
