LAWRENCEBURG, TENN.—The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the release of its latest Visitor’s Guide, the “Discover Tennessee’s Amish Country”. As the newest addition to the Visit Lawrenceburg-branded series, this bi-annual guide serves as the county’s premier resource for tourism promotion, with 10,000 copies printed and distributed nationwide.
According to the State of Tennessee’s 2023 Economic Impact report, tourism contributes $53.7million in direct visitor spending to Lawrence County annually, reflecting a 5% increase from the previous year. Without this revenue, each household in Lawrence County would pay an additional $188 in state and local taxes.

This year’s guide invites visitors to delve into the rich heritage of Lawrence County’s Amish community, offering insights into local crafts, markets, and cultural experiences. Beyond the Amish attractions, the guide highlights key destinations such as David Crockett State Park, Laurel Hill Lake, Shoal Creek, and The Farm Community. It also showcases annual events, museums, and parks, providing a comprehensive overview of what makes Lawrence County a unique destination.
“Our Visitor’s Guide is an excellent source of inspiration for travelers as we enter the height of tourism season,” said Ryan Egly, CEO & President of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. “We are delighted to highlight the stories of some of our most captivating attractions in this issue, through our Facebook and Instagram, and on visitlawrenceburg.com. We look forward to another wonderful year, sharing all the great things Lawrence County has to offer.”
Visitor’s Guides are provided at no cost and are available at the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce office, state and regional visitor centers, and numerous local establishments. Businesses interested in bulk copies for distribution can request delivery by calling the Chamber at 931-762-4911.
