Over the past two years, Visit Lawrenceburg has achieved significant milestones, cementing its position as a vital asset to the community and the tourism industry at large.
Visit Lawrenceburg has successfully procured over $215,000 in grants that have allowed for projects such as wayfinding signage, bi-annual publication of an 80+ page visitors guide, new City/County maps and brochures, digital marketing, brand representation at regional festivals and events, and advertisements in regional and national publications. Through strategic partnerships and collaborations, the tourism organization run by the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce has garnered content creation grants, facilitating the development of captivating narratives that spotlight the county’s rich culture, history, and attractions. The brand has prioritized its online presence, undertaking rigorous Google and Trip Advisor optimization initiatives, ensuring prominent visibility for travelers seeking destination information. Visit Lawrenceburg has also witnessed a surge across its social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram. With over 7,452 Facebook followers and 4.9K likes, alongside 866 Instagram followers and counting, Visit Lawrenceburg continues to captivate audiences, serving as a beacon of inspiration for travelers seeking unforgettable experiences.
We also cannot discount the partnerships that have been created and strengthened through Visit Lawrenceburg with Nashville’s Big Back Yard, Experience TN / South Central Tennessee Tourism Association, and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. These vital partners have helped promote local tourism draws to a broader audience and give credibility to the Visit Lawrenceburg brand.
