LAWRENCEBURG, TENN– Business Facilities, the nation’s premier publication for corporate site selection and economic development, has named Magna International’s recent project with the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, Lawrence County Government, City of Lawrenceburg, Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as the winner of the 2023 Impact Award for EV Supplier/Manufacturing.
Magna International announced their plans to invest $790 million across three new Tennessee facilities last July, including nearly $200 million at a state-of-the-art stamping and assembly plant in Lawrenceburg. The collaboration between the automotive giant, the State of Tennessee, and Lawrence County earned the project a prominent place among the 19 projects celebrated in Business Facilities’ 2023 Impact Awards.
