Radio 7 Media Welcomes AJ Good as Sports Director

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. – Radio 7 Media, LLC, parent company of Radio Stations WLX and WDXE, is proud to introduce AJ Good as the organization’s new sports director.  Good, a West Virginia native, comes to Lawrenceburg by way of State College, PA where he worked as a news and sports anchor for a local television station.

“We’re excited to have AJ on board and as a part of our station family.  He brings experience, professionalism, and true dedication to covering our local schools and student athletes,” stated Radio 7 Media General Manager Ben Luna.

Good will lead the company’s “X Sports Network” brand into a new digital platform that will feature video coverage of local high school games, daily feature reports, interviews with students, coaches, and administrators, a special Friday night round up of football and basketball games, a Saturday segment aimed at coverage of area colleges, and much more.  AJ will also spearhead play-by-play coverage of the Lawrence County High School Wildcats while longtime broadcasters Cam Mashburn and Scott and Jeff Franks will continue to call Loretto and Summertown High School games.

“With AJ’s direction, this is our opportunity to expand our coverage to all sports that local schools have and bring the positive attention to the students, that they very much deserve,” Luna continued.

Good’s daily coverage of Lawrence County, Loretto and Summertown High Schools, game broadcasts, area colleges, and special reports can be found on the company’s sports website, www.xsportsnetwork.net, X Sports Network’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/xsportsnetworktn, and on the forth coming X Sports App that will be available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

AJ is married to the former Marilee Betz of Lawrenceburg and brings nearly two decades of award winning television experience to Radio 7 Media and the Lawrence County community.
